Professional-Technical Programs
The Midvale School District offers six different professional-technical programs. Each is listed below.
The Vocational Agriculture, the Construction/Structures, and Cabinetry Programs are held in the new P-T Building located behind the main school building.
P-T Programs
- Vocational Agriculture
Description - The agriculture program prepares and supports individuals for careers within the agriculture industry. The Vocational Agriculture program is involved in the student association of the Future Farmers of America (FFA). - Business Education
Description - The Business Education program prepares high school students for entry into various business careers. There is a local chapter of the Business Professionals of America (BPA) located at Midvale. Description - The Family Consumer Science program is designed to train students to improve the lives of individuals, families and communities. Midvale has an active chapter of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCLA). - Construction/Structures
Description - The Construction/Structures program is part of the Skilled and Technical Sciences program which prepares students for careers in a constantly changing occupational setting.
